Like treasures gathered along the water’s edge, Sea Glass Drift brings together shifting shades of aqua, turquoise, soft blue and warm copper in an eclectic, richly textured design.
At the center is a hand-cut copper rectangular focal, enameled in a soft ivory and finished with a turquoise stencil technique that gives the surface an organic, weathered appearance. Timothy built the necklace around the focal using an assortment of glass and natural stone beads, combining translucent, faceted and opaque finishes with touches of copper for warmth and contrast.
Rather than creating a perfectly uniform strand, the changing shapes, colors and textures give Sea Glass Drift the collected quality its name suggests—reminiscent of bits of glass, stone and other small treasures shaped by water and discovered along a shoreline.
Although it was created separately, its watery palette makes Sea Glass Drift a beautiful companion to Timothy’s Seafoam Earrings.
