Natural materials and hand-fabricated sterling silver come together in Ivory Passage, a one-of-a-kind pair of earrings with an understated, earthy character.
Each earring begins with a 13 × 18 mm oval natural quartz cabochon, softly patterned in warm ivory and cream tones. Timothy individually set each stone on a sterling silver backplate, surrounding it with an ornate sterling silver gallery-wire bezel that frames the subtle natural markings within the quartz.
Above each cabochon, a carved African bone tube bead introduces bold linear and circular patterns that contrast beautifully with the quiet movement of the stone. Tortoise-colored Czech glass beads provide a warm transitional accent, bringing the stone, bone and silver elements together.
Finished on silver-plated leverbacks, Ivory Passage measures approximately 2½ inches in total length. The natural variations in both the quartz and carved bone ensure that the two earrings coordinate while retaining the individual character of handmade jewelry.
