Fresh, graphic and full of movement, Citrus Tide pairs vivid aqua with a bright lime green in a striking pair of hand-enameled earrings.
Timothy created each earring from hand-cut copper, using two individually enameled components to build the design. A softly squared upper piece leads into an elongated, open teardrop below, allowing the negative space to become part of the composition. The aqua and lime enamels shift across the copper rather than forming a hard division, giving each component its own subtle variations in color and surface.
Because the enamel develops individually during firing, the two earrings coordinate without being identical—one of the characteristics that makes handmade enamel work unique.
Finished with silver-plated post findings, Citrus Tide has a contemporary, almost mid-century feel, while the saturated aqua and citrus-green palette keeps it playful and unexpected.
